Brandon W. Whitworth, DMD

Dr. Brandon Whitworth is the grandson of Dr. Clyde Whitworth who was a Professor of Pharmacy at the University of Georgia. He is the son of Dr. Whitworth who grew up in Athens and was part of the last graduating class of Athens High. He was born in Savannah, Georgia during his father's surgical residency and moved back to the Athens area where he was raised.
Dr. Whitworth uses a multidisciplinary approach to dental medicine. He actively participates in continuing education on dental restorative techniques including full mouth rehabilitation, dental implants, orthodontics, endodontics and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Whitworth graduated from Samford University in 2006 with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology and a minor in Spanish. While attending he was a member of the premedical honor society Alpha Epsilon Delta. He completed his education with honors and was awarded a scholarship from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry based on college academic merit.
Dr. Whitworth and his wife, Ashley have young twin boys (Dr. Whitworth is also a twin, his brother Sterling is a dentist in Covington). Dr. Whitworth and Ashley also enjoy sports. Ashley was a cheerleader at the University of South Carolina and was honored to serve as Miss South Carolina; she loves football, fitness and exercise. Dr. Whitworth plays tennis, golf and basketball; he also enjoys snow skiing, snowboarding and kayaking and is always trying new things.
